Creative Sound ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect through creativesound.example and the Creative Dist purchase flow, why, and who else touches it.
What we collect
When you buy Creative Dist, checkout is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive:
- Your email address, so we can send your license key and download link.
- Basic order metadata (amount paid, date, order/session ID) for support and bookkeeping.
We never see or store your card number — Stripe processes payments directly and is PCI-DSS compliant. Browsing the site itself doesn't require an account or any personal information.
Who else processes your data
We rely on a small number of external services to run the site and deliver your purchase:
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — sends the transactional email with your license key and download link. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server request logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and reliability. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — the site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which can see the requesting IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies & tracking
We don't run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this site.
The only client-side storage used is localStorage/sessionStorage
for small interface preferences (like not repeating an intro animation on every visit) —
nothing that identifies you.
How long we keep it
We don't run our own customer database. Order and email records live in Stripe and Resend's systems, governed by their own retention policies; we keep copies only as long as needed for support and legal/accounting requirements.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your data. To exercise any of these, or with any other privacy question, contact us.
